    “You idiot! Why are you even at the academy?” Ida asked, eyebrows knotted in anger as she stared at the completely unapologetic man standing in front of her. Beru laughed easily and gave a small shrug, “I wanted to see you. You never come visit me now that you’re at the Otherworlde. Is it wrong of a boyfriend to visit his girlfriend?”

     Ida sent a glare at her boyfriend, but her hands continue to weave the shadow thread across the gaping wound on his chest. “When said boyfriend does so without giving the girlfriend prior acknowledgement, then yes!” As if to emphasize her point, Ida tugged a bit harder on the shadow tendril as she knotted it off and allowed the shadow to snap easily. Beru winced slightly, but chuckled nevertheless. “You hurt me Ida. All I wanted was to see you again and now you’re mad? Unbelievable...” Beru said as he patted Ida’s head, mindful of her jagged purple horns. The shinigami blushed and swatted his hand away, “You know Otherworlde is never safe. There are weird people and beings here, Beru, powerful beings. Don’t come here on your own again.” 

    The water nymph tilted his head back, staring up at the grey sky and seemed to ponder before looking back to Ida, “That guy though... the one that attacked me, he was strong.” Ida snorted and crossed her arms, “Of course, that was my shadowmancy professor. No one gets on the bad side of him and lives to tell the tale. Although he doesn’t just attack people at random. You came at a bad time Beru, that was actually for one of my assignments.” “Is that so?” The green-haired man said with a smile before continuing, “Well then I’m glad I was able to help~” “Idiot!” Ida mumbled again before heading down the path. Beru laughed again and jogged to catch up with her, “Hey wait up! You haven’t shown me the academy yet!” “Go home!” “Now come on honey...”
